Our independent software advisory firm was established in 2011 by Principal Filipa Preston.

As a flexible team of software and Microsoft specialists, we customise our programs to suit our client’s requirements, delivering rapid results that invariably generate  significant cost savings.

We do not sell software. We are a neutral party, dubbed by our clients as Switzerland, independent and free to deliver our services with a focus on the best interests of our clients. Those best interests include a need to increase clarity to make savings, increase value and efficiency, achieve compliance and maximise security.

In 2016 Software Optimisation Services (SOS) won Microsoft’s global SAM Partner of the Year award, the first company in Australia and the whole of APAC to do so.

Our founder and CEO was the first person ever in Australia to be a Certified Software Practitioner in ISO/IEC 19770-1. This ISO standard is specific to SAM but is closely aligned to IT Service Management (ITSM).

She was also the first SAM practitioner outside of Europe to meet all of the requirements of KPMG’s SAM Expert Assessment.
